Vaudrey Miller Yachts
Vaudrey Miller Tenders and Vaudrey Miller Yachts, located in Auckland, New Zealand, specialise in crafting superyacht tenders and composite sailing and motor yachts to 30 metres.

Warren Vaudrey and Simon Miller founded Vaudrey Miller Yachts in 1992; since then they have built a solid international reputation and enjoyed repeat business from high-profile clients based in Europe and America.

Vaudrey Miller custom build super yacht tenders, and sailing yachts and motor yachts up to 30 metres long.

It specialises in lightweight epoxy composite structures; carbon fibre is utilised on a daily basis and resin infusion is used when appropriate.

To ensure designers’ and stylists’ intentions are communicated clearly and concisely to the shop floor, Vaudrey Miller employs experienced project mangers to coordinate each contract, and a qualified naval architect to head the design office. It also maintains an elite woodworking studio and engineering machine shop on site.

The majority of staff sail competitively, cruise, dive or fish in their leisure time; they understand first hand the demands placed upon a vessel by rough seas and long-term exposure to the elements. This sea-going experience adds a valuable dimension to the professional boat building skills available to the client.

Thus Vaudrey Miller is able to translate the most artistic or technically challenging brief into a robust and soundly engineered vessel, one with an exceptionally high standard of finish.

Key Projects

Vaudrey Miller recently delivered personalised owner transports to a remarkable superyacht with architecture so unique it demands attention. The tenders, an open sports and enclosed limousine, reflect the artistry of the mothership while satisfying demanding operational and lifestyle specifications.

Vaudrey Miller is currently constructing seven super yacht tenders with diverse design profiles.

A repeat client who relies on Vaudrey Miller built tenders to access his motor-yacht - which is often anchored out because of its large size - has chosen to equip his latest vessel with two second-generation classic-styled tenders powered by twin diesels and water jets.

The largest tender under construction is a 13.6m catamaran with two cabins, a 300kg crane and a two-stage bow door designed to load people, equipment and vehicles. This 34-knot luxury catamaran – powered by jet units and fitted with ballast tanks - fulfils multiple recreational and mother ship support roles.

Refreshing New Perspective

Vaudrey Miller crafts personalised tenders for the most discerning businessmen and high profile mega-yachts in the world. These commissions, where artistry is often as important as technical expertise, constantly require styling and construction issues to be answered with sophisticated solutions. Vaudrey Miller can apply this problem solving expertise to any task.
